Claritin or Kirkland Allerclear?

I have awful allergies, so when reader Kari sent us this great e-mail, I though I would share! Thank you Keri!

"I just wanted to give a heads up about the Claritin deal. While this is an AWESOME deal on retail brand name Claritin, it will only get you 60 tabs - if you do it twice. At .49 per 10 pack it comes out about 5 cents a piece. You can get Kirkland brand Allerclear / loratidine (generic claritin) for 300 pills for $12 regular price. I know Costco has a membership fee, so you have to consider that, but if you already shop there or know someone who does, you can treat your allergies for 4 cents a pill for a whole year!"

"7" Dojo Jeans at Costco

If your kinda a jean snob - I've got a deal for you!!

The Boise (and probably other locations) Costco has Seven for All Mankind "Dojo" jeans for $89 right now. These are seriously HOT jeans that retail upwards of $198+. they are a dark wash with navy stitching, and trouser cut - very flattering! These go FAST at Costco!

Is $89 spendy still? Yes, especially for a coupon clipper!

Worth it? Absolutely!

My theory on jeans:

I find a pair that I LOVE - high quality, don't lose their shape (no saggy butt on day 3 :) ) - and I wear them everyday. Seriously, I do - judge me, but I do. One pair of nice expensive jeans that I love is worth 10 pairs of O.K. jeans I just like. Any jeans that can flatter my extra post-baby cushion is like gold to me! I must include a warning though: Once you buy one pair, you'll never go back - it's addicting!

Another great place to buy designer jeans: eBay! Beware though, plenty of fakes being sold so check the sellers feedback. Though, fakes can still be cute :)!

As of 8/31/09, this is a current Nampa, Idaho Costco list. It is obviously not complete (that would take the rest of my life to finish) but its a start! Prices vary by region and date but at least we will have a general reference for prices.

This blog is so dang cute!!! Way to go girls!

Costco milk is down to $1.40 for skim and $1.60 for 2%. Cheaper than anywhere I've seen!
Also, the shredded cheese is under $2/pound.

Just a side note - if you like California roles, I picked some up at Costco in the fresh section and they were delicious! - around $5 for 16 I think.
