I have awful allergies, so when reader Kari sent us this great e-mail, I though I would share! Thank you Keri!
"I just wanted to give a heads up about the Claritin deal. While this is an AWESOME deal on retail brand name Claritin, it will only get you 60 tabs - if you do it twice. At .49 per 10 pack it comes out about 5 cents a piece. You can get Kirkland brand Allerclear / loratidine (generic claritin) for 300 pills for $12 regular price. I know Costco has a membership fee, so you have to consider that, but if you already shop there or know someone who does, you can treat your allergies for 4 cents a pill for a whole year!"
Looks like Costco wins this match-up!

Also, with all the Zyrtec deals, it may be cheaper at Costco as well. Kirkland brand is about $16 for 365 pills!!! That is also about .04 per pill, so unless you can get a 30ct bottle of Zyrtec for less than $1.20 it is cheaper at Costco. ( I will say that I have been able to get 10 bottles of Zyrtec FREE in the past month at Rite Aid by stacking the Allergy Reward and SCR and coupons and sale, etc.. but it seems like this wont happen very often. And so you know im not hoarding, we use three bottles a month at my house!!!)
Sophie, I would be interested in knowing how you did the rite aid deals for Zyrtec. We go through allergy meds fast around here also, my daughter gets immune to each brand every 3 months so we have to rotate our brands. I copied a bunch of info on getting the claritin at rite aid but still not quite sure about how it is done. If you could e mail me directly I would appreciate it. 7cluffs@gmail.com
Thanks
Michelle
