Twice the Value Coupons - FAQ

Did you find yours? Albertsons twice the value coupons or "doublers" came in today's paper! I'm working on a list right now but start listing you ideas here! I've had a few questions regarding doubling coupons and Twice the Value coupons so here is a short overview. Please leave a comment if you have any questions!

F.A.Q.

What are Twice the Value Coupons or "Doublers"?
They are actual coupons that come in Sunday's Paper or in the actual Albertsons ad.

What do you do with them?
You can use a twice the Value coupon in conjunction with a *manufacturer coupon to "double' the value. For example, if you have a $1/1 Tide detergent coupon, you can present the twice the value coupon with your $1/1 and get $2/1.

*Which coupons can you double?
Your manufacturer coupon MUST say manufacturer on the coupon
The manufacturer coupon can not say Do Not Double
The manufacturer coupon must be $1 or LESS, anything more than this will not be doubled at all.

How many Twice the Value coupons can I use?
Generally, you can only use 3 twice the Value coupons in a transaction (unless stated otherwise on the coupon). You can, however do multiple transactions (I would limit it to 3 during busy hours). This means you check out once and use three manufacturer coupons and three twice the Value coupons, pay for you order, then start a new transaction and use 3 more Twice the Value and manufacturer coupons.

Did I miss anything? Leave a comment if I did!

Free Herbal Essence at Rite Aid!

I LOVE Buy One get One Free sales at Rite Aid.

Why? Well, they usually are a great deal because you can generally use two coupons even though you only paying for 1 item (it's like doubling without a limit or a double coupon!). The sale gets even better if it there just happens to be a Buy One Get One Free coupon to go along with it.

This gets a little confusing, but basically you end up getting two items for FREE! One is paid for by the manufacturer and one is payed for by the retailer. All you have to do is pay tax!!

This week at Rite Aid:

Herbal Essence Shampoos, Conditioners and Stylers - Buy One get One Free
Use: Herbal Essences Styler FREE when you buy any Herbal Essences Shampoo, Conditioner or Styler (PG-10/11)
Final Price = 2 for FREE!

See HERE how I stocked up on Cover Girl Makeup at a previous Rite Aid sale just like this one! And check back later for more Rite Aid deals this week.

Free Playtex Gloves with coupon

This just in from the manager at the Greenhurst Albertsons:

The Playtex gloves that were on sale a few months ago for $1.00.. well, they ordered a TON for that sale, and were stuck with alot of them, and so they have decided to keep the price at their cost ($1.00) until they can sell what they have, we still have a 1.00 coupon that is good until Jan. 31.

Also, Dove shampoo and conditioner are included in this -$15/$30 sale, they are $4.99 plus we have -$1.00 coupons that can be doubled after this weekend PLUS a -$1.50 conditioner coupon that we can use towards this $30 order. They wanted me to let everyone know that they have ordered 400 bottles and will have PLENTY for those people that would like to go and get shampoo & conditioner for .50 a bottle!

Thanks for the heads up Jen!

More at Old Navy

I keep going back to Old Navy this week. This is not my usual store to shop but they have had some great deals!

Right now, ALL outerwear is 50% off! They have some cute Pea Coats and men's dress and casual coats/jackets, plus a great selection of kids as well. The 1/2 off prices are good but it gets better: take an additional 30% off when you use Old Navy/Gap/Banana republic card.

That makes some of the kids coats less than $10, the normally $90 Women's Coats around $32 and some men's around $20 or less. Plus get a free tote (I have 4 now!).

AND tomorrow - Saturday - All fleece scarfs will be $1 (or $.70 w/ a 30% off!). Stock up sale!!
The Nampa store had a million tonight - but I would still get there early.

25% off Gap - 3 Days Only!

Look what I found in my inbox:

Expires Nov. 8th

This is a great coupon - especially for Gap. I bet there are some amazing deals with this coupon right now.

New Release DVD's - $10!

Thanks The Coupon High! The top 10 new release movies are less than $10 when you pre-order from Walmart.com. Shipping and handling is free as well! Pretty good deal when you consider these movies will be priced as high as $25 in stores. Titles available right now include:

  • Night at The Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian
  • Star Trek XI
  • Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
  • Angels & Demons
  • My Sister's Keeper
  • G-Force
  • ....and more HERE !
These would make great Christmas Presents!

Target Baby Registry

In the mail yesterday I randomly got a Target Baby Registry magazine - with a free coupon for a $20 Target gift card inside! So if you got one, dont throw it away without looking inside it first!

If you didnt get a magazine with free gift card, and you want one, all you have to do is go and sign up for a baby registry and the magazine will automatically be mailed out to you from corporate ( I just called Target and that is what they told me!) They said this is ongoing for anyone who registers.

All you have to do to activate the gift card, is sign up for a baby registry, print it out, and take it to customer service with the card from the magazine! Happy Spending :)

FREE Kids Bikes

Last weekend my Husband and I were invited by one of his students to come down the the BBP (Boise Bicycle Project) to pick out some FREE bikes for our kids. I had never heard of it. And who gives kids bikes away for FREE?? Well, the Boise Bicycle Project is a non-profit organization that takes donated/unwanted bikes and refurbishes them. They turn those "junky" bikes into high quality bikes. They also end up with so many kids bikes! And better yet...they will just GIVE them to you at NO cost. When we arrived at the shop they had a HUGE upper shelf overflowing with kids bikes. Since I have girls, I just told him to pull down anything that looked girly. We got some great "Used" girl bikes that we are going to give our girls for Christmas! So if you or anyone you know needs some kids bikes, go down to the BBP. They are used but they are FREE! The address is:
1027 S Lusk St
Boise, ID 83706
(208) 429-6520
You can also check out their web site to learn more about them. They have great adult bikes for really cheap and they also work to educate the public on how to fix up their own bikes. There is so much. Check it out! www.boisebicycleproject.org
