Zoo Boise. 8:30-10 am. Beastly Breakfast. Ages 5 and up with an adult. Fun and educational breakfast. Registration required. #384-4260.

Veterans Day Parade. 10 am-12. Begins at the corner of 10th and Bannock streets, and proceeds east to the corner of 5th and Bannock streets, then south to the corner of 5th and Idaho streets, and west to the corner of 11th and Idaho streets. No parking will be allowed on the parade route.

West YMCA. Kids in the Kitchen. 10- 2 pm. The Junior League of Boise aims to provide children with the tools they need to make nutritious eating choices.
Come for athletic demonstrations, useful information, and lots of fun activities!

Father/Daughter Masquerade Ball. 6:30-9:00. Cathedral of the Rockies. A special night just for girls (ages 5 and up) and their dads! Decorated masks encouraged; suggested attire is semi-formal. Complementary dance instruction at 6:30. Light refreshments. Guest performance by Capital City Youth Ballet, the pre-professional dance company of Capital City Ballet Center. They Might be Giants Kids Show.
4 pm. Egyptian Theater. Idaho Concerts welcomes double Grammy Award-winning artists They Might Be Giants to the Egyptian Theater on Sun Nov 8th, for a special 4 PM matinee kids show.

Sunday at the Depot. 1-3 pm. Boise Depot. Join the Treasure Valley Storytellers in a program honoring Veteran’s Day. Free.

Gospel Jubilee. 4 pm. Nampa Civic Center. In the Spirit of the Grand 'Ole Opry and great gospel music, the Gospel Jubilee will perform a variety of country, folk, and gospel songs that will keep your toes tapping. Join your friends and enjoy the heart lifting sight and sounds of the Gospel Jubilee.
