The Treasure Valley Institute for Children’s Arts presents “Little Red Riding Hood and the Three Little Pigs,” an interactive children’s theater production by St. Thomas Playhouse, at 2 and 7 p.m Saturday, Aug. 8. Tickets are $7, available in advance by calling 208-344-2220 or at the door.

23rd Annual Nampa Festival of the Arts. Aug. 8-9: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4p.m. at Lakeview Park.

Run for Ryan Fun Run. Support Ryan Stockdale and his family and help defray medical and related expenses will be held Aug. 8 at Heights Elementary School on Cemetery Road, Middleton. The run/walk will begin at 8:30 a.m. A 4.5 mile or abbreviated 1.5 mile route are options, concluding with a celebration at Mill Creek Primary on Middleton Road. Please bring donations.
