This is why I love coupons so much....
I just did my weekly Rite Aid and Walgreens run, and between the 2 stores I got ALL of this stuff for $3.03.
Yup. Now, I paid out of pocket $28.48 for it all, but I'll be getting back $22.45 in rebates. Plus I still have a $2 Register Reward to use at Walgreens next week, and a $1 +UP Reward to use at Rite Aid. (And all the rebates are done online - one submssion, no stamps, no forms). Easy Cheesy.
How long did it take me? - Besides the actual shopping time I'd say I spent about 30 min. preparing my list and gathering my coupons - okay, and a couple of minutes extra afterwards setting up my pretty display. All of this would have cost $69.49 retail. So basically I just save myself over $60 in less than an hour's worth of time. So when people ask me "Is it really worth the time?" and "Can you really save that much?", I simply tell them "YUP!"

Wahoo!! Way to go Kelley!
That's great! I did not too bad at Rite Aid today...
2 Herbashine hair colors;
1 Maybelline eyeshadow trio;
2 Playtex Gentle Glide 18-count;
2 Gain dishwashing liquids;
1 Garnier shampoo;
1 Garnier conditioner;
1 John Frieda conditioner;
1 V05 shampoo;
2 Nature's Bounty Vitamin D; and
1 Palmer's lip balm
... for $12.73 out of pocket! I will also get back $1.99 SCR.
(Retail with tax would've been $79.78!)
