I've been having a real problem lately with coupons not coming off for the full amount....it's difficult to catch it while it's being scanned! And as you well know it takes lot's of time at CS to fix the problem.
How about you guys? Notice an increase lately? My $3.00 off Schick coupon came off at $1.87 yesterday....several times, it took me 15 minutes to get it fixed in Customer Service....the manager told me it's been happening alot lately....I'm guessing he's not supposed to tell me that!"
I was just curious if anyone in the boise area has run into this problem! I haven't personally...but maybe its a good idea to watch the register a little more closely!

I've been having it happen here in NJ a lot lately!!! Just yesterday I had 2 like $1 coupons and the first one came off at $.37 and the second one for the full $1. Such a pain, and each time I go to CS they look at me like I"m crazy:) One time I even had a $1 coupon come off at $0.00?!?!?!?
I have noticed this more and more lately.I had this happen on Mead 5 Star portfolios that I bought. They were on sale for $0.50 ea. My manufacturer coupon was for $1/2 making them free..no overage. The system only took off $0.50/2..making them essentially buy one get one free. Which was not a good deal at all. I went to customer service and they said that it must be a manufacturer coupon deal and that I should take it up with the manufacturer, not Target since they couldn't even over ride the coupon.
I had the same thing happen about a month ago at my store here in Illinois. I visit them weekly, and hadn't really paid much attention. BUT, thanks to my Neilsen scanner, I caught that they didn't give me $9 worth of coupons! I called customer service, and spent another 1/2 hour after I got there getting it all straight. So, since then, I watch every single transaction, especially when they are scanning coupons.
They did not take off two of my BOGO's on Soleil razors. I did not catch it until I got home and I was severely ticked off. I called and they said because I didn't come to CS right away it couldn't prove it.
Every time I go in there, they are only willing to adjust the price of the coupon, never willing to adjust the product price (ex: travel sized item .97, coupon for -$1)they will only give me .97 off the amount, but do not write anything about that on the coupon, it seems like they still cash it in for the full -$1. I've asked about it before, and they were really tight lipped about it?!
