Boise Hawk's host their 2nd annual "Blues, Brew and BBQ" benefiting the Idaho Humane Society. They will have beer vendors, BBQ vendors & seven blues bands. Friday 5:30-9. Saturday starts at 11 am. Memorial Stadium. Great Kids activities on Sat.

Movie Night at the Old Penn. 7:30 pm. "Cool Hand Luke". The movie is free but seating is limited. Tickets may be picked up at the Old Penitentiary, the Historical Museum in Julie Davis Park and the State Historical Preservation Office at 210 Main St. There is a 4 ticket per person limit. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Capital City Public Market. 9:30-1pm. Grove Plaza.

Parents Night Out. Wings Center. Ages 5-12. Hours of non-stop fun, including Planet Kid, rock climbing, inflatables, gym games, foam pit, pizza and movies! Choose our 5-hour option or all-night!

Boise Contra Dance. Boise Contra Dance Society’s 3rd Saturday dance will be held on May 15th, from 8 to 11pm at the Broadway Dance Studio. May’s dance music provided by Bandáge à Trois. Partners not required. Cover charge members 5$, non-members 8$, under 18 $4. Newcomers are encouraged to attend a 7:30pm workshop prior to dancing at 8pm. The dance is smoke and alcohol-free. 16th Annual Troop 61 Pancake Breakfast
and Motorcycle Show and Shine. 7 am-11 am. Maple Grove Grange (11692 President's Drive). All you can eat pancakes, eggs, sausage, and beverages. $5 at the door, kids 5 and under eat free, Veterans 1/2 price. Portion of proceeds to benefit Idaho veterans.

There's also a Scout-sponsored community event Saturday at Sawtooth Middle School 10am-3pm. Ambulances, fire trucks, Smokey the Bear, and lots of other free booths and demos to see. FREE!

Capital City Public Market is from 9:30-1:30.
