Friday, April 30th
Prairie Dog Playhouse presents "Star Warps! May the farce be with you.". A family fun film. April 23rd-May 23rd. Fri and Sat 7:15 pm.

Family Dance at the Basque Center in Boise. 6-8 pm. Western hoedown with music, children’s activities and dinner. Benefit for Treasure Valley Institute for Children’s Arts (TrICA) and Kids are Special People (KASP). Purchase tickets at 344-2220.

Whitney Women's Chorale and Boise State Vox Angelis Women's Choir, Phil Theodorou, Conductor Proudly present Holy Mother Russia. A concert featuring Sergei Rachminoff's Six Choral Songs for Treble Voices and Eighteenth Century Italian composer, Giovanni Pergolesi's Stabat Mater. 8 pm. Cathedral of the Rockies.

Parma Motor-Vu. Drive in Family Friendly movies. Fri and Sat night. Ages 11 and under are free.

Music Theater of Idaho presents"Willy Wonka". Fri-7:30. Sat 1:30 & 7:30. Nampa Civic Center.

Library! at Hillcrest. Into the wild: Let's go camping. 2 pm. Get ready for summer camping and hiking and learn about plants, animals, and outdoor fun.

Eagle Public Library. Author Judy Cox will be reading her newest book-"Cinco de Mouse -O. 2 pm. Craft and book signing will follow.

JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes. 9 am. Ann Morrison Park. Collect pledges and come walk to cure diabetes. Registration packets available at area Stinker stations. Country Western Dance Workshop. 9 am-5 pm. At the Boise Square Dance Center. The Idaho Country Western Dance Association is holding its annual membership drive and workshop. Beginner and intermediate lessons in waltz, two-step, cha cha, nightclub two-step, hustle, and triple two-step. No partner or experience needed. Friendly folks and great instructors!
