Marne said buying in increments of 4 is the cheapest. Ends up being only .34 cents a box. Buying 5 is .39 cents a box, and buying 6 is .42 cents a box. Without doublers.

Crystal gave this scenario if you want to use doublers.
Buy in increments of 4 and then use two post cereal coupons ($1/2) and ONE doubler per transaction. Your first transaction will be $3.36 OOP and then you will get a $3 catalina. Use this to pay for your next transaction and you will only pay 36 cents out of pocket. Repeat indefinitely. If you buy 40 boxes of cereal your total OOP before tax is $6.60. This comes out to 17 cents a box!
