Walgreens - Register Reward Scenario

Here is an quick idea if you plan on taking advantage of some RR deals at Walgreens this week. See our Wags 101 for more RR info or our weekly Wags line up HERE for a full ist of deals.

Buy (2) Childrens Tylenol -$4.49each
Use $1/1 Walgreens Activity Book
and Use $3/2 from 1/3 RP
Pay: $3.99
-Get $3 RR WYB 2

Buy (1) Dove Mens Body Wash - $5.99
use $1.25/1 from 1/31 RP
and use $3 RR from previous transaction
Pay: $1.74
-Get $6 RR
Buy (1) Huggies Jumbo - $8.99 (plus fillers)

use $2.00/1 Huggies Little Mover printable coupon
and use $1.00/1 Huggies in Children’s Activity Booklet
and use $6 RR from previous transaction
Pay: Tax
-Get $3 RR

Your total out of pocket = $5.73
Walk out with = $3 RR
Final Cost for everything = $2.73 plus Tax!

(Pre coupon and RR price - $23.96 = 88% savings!)

* Note - you may need "filler" items (like $.10-$.20 pencils/erasers) to be able to use more than one coupon per item. This will obviously bring your total OOP up a little, but not more than $.75 or so! I would bring a few fillers up to the register and include one for every coupon you use that you do not have another product for.

Another idea would be to roll the Tylenol RR into the Diapers deals and then the diapers RR into the Tylenol deal, and so on. Because they both print a $3 RR you can "roll" the two different RR's into each other. Make sense??

hey fyi the $3 off huggies coupons in last week albertsons ad worked!!!!! That means you get pack of jumbo diapers for $1.99 after rr bucks...ps if you want to do the transaction over and over again you will need a filler.
