I have some questions for you! (and a prize!)

It's time for Discount Queens to get a little work done - our little site needs a face lift in a bad way. We need your help to make this blog a little better and more efficient. It's all about what you want, but we aren't really sure what you want. So, I would LOVE and appreciate any and all comment and help on this one!! (I'll even throw in a gift card prize for one a random commenter!) Keep your eye's out for polls on the sidebar as well.

I want to know what you like and don't like.

*We are an Idaho based blog, but I've noticed we have readers that come from every state. Is there any other store you would like us to post that we don't ? Or do you even like the store posts. Do you want to see more of the 2-3 star deals or just the 4-5 start deals?

*What about all the Internet freebies and samples - do you want more or less?

*More retail/clothing sales and coupons?

*Do you like to see posts on Internet printable coupons, do you actually print them on the spot, or would you just rather see them posted when they correspond to a current deal?

*If we had a general easy to use/read forum that anyone could post/comment/ask questions/complain/discuss on, would you use it or read it?

*Baby/Kid deals? Do we have too many, or do you want more?

*Anything at all you want to see more or less of?

I am new at coupons but I check your site out almost everyday! I love printing coupons online, I love freebies and I love kid's clothes deals. I live in Florida, so Target and Publix are where I do the most shopping!

Your blog is one of my favorite couponing blogs!

These are my personal preferences:

I like to just see the four and five star deals.

I don't care to see a lot of samples or online freebies.

I like how you point out a free or super great price on a product that is singled out in a post like the Purex deal or the walgreens crest toothpaste.

I prefer to have the internet coupons matched up with the sale vs. just having a list of them.

Keep up the good work! Thanks so much!

I love Discount Queens and think you do an amazing job! I love seeing the coupons matched up with great 4-5* deals, the kids deals, clothing deals and mainly print coupons from the links you provide. It makes it really easy when you give transaction scenarios with the coupon and price breakdown. The Old Navy Weekly tips are always fun and I love looking at the babysteals as well. I would love to see more recipes and possibly ways to do food storage or 72 hour kits. I have NO idea what to do in that department...but maybe that's my problem :)

I like to see all the deals only because there might be a 2-3 star item that I NEED that week.
I don't care much for teh internet freebies or samples...I just don't order them.
I only print the internet printable coupons when they correspond with a sale.
I wouldn't use a forum.
Thanks for all the work you do with your site!

I prefer only the top deals at a store! Freebies are fun, but only if they are any good :) I really like the sites with only one sidebar... They aer easier to read and have less craziness!

Thanks for all you do!

I like the simplicity of your site and agree that I don't like a lot of sidebar craziness. I don't have young children so the kids steals aren't necessarily my favorite but I don't dislike seeing them. I believe it's difficult to be all and to please all and you do a great job of maintaining a healthy balance. That being said, I live in Middleton, ID and the only store we have there is Ridley's. They accept Albertsons doublers, all coupons (internet and manufacturer), price match all stores deals even on the items that are exclusive to their store (i.e., Fred Meyer milk, Albertsons olives). As long as they have a "Ridley's" counterpart, they'll accept the cost. I would appreciate seeing deals from Ridley's listed in your grocery stores. I will even go so far as to offer my help each week in compiling a guest post for you to help maximize your time spent.

You guys definitely have the best coupon blog. I use the store lists every week (and I live in WA). I don't have Albertsons where I'm at, just Safeway. (You must not have that in ID or you would probably have a list for that, right?) I LOVE when you post deals on clothing, both baby and adult! I only print the internet coupons when they correspond with a deal in one of your store lists. I am amazed at how you girls find this stuff. Do you just do it out of the goodness of your heart or do you get paid? I pretty much LOVE everything you do! Please don't stop!

Oh, also I don't use the freebies (unless it's really fabulous) and I really like when you do store scenarios (espcecially at Walgreens). I think it would be awesome if you posted yummy recipes. I struggle in that area. I also like the 2-3* deals because it might be something I need that week. I wouldn't use a forum.

I am in PA but lived in Idaho a long time ago... I love seeing the Boise stuff as it is a reminder of a place I love! Please put up more coupons for adult clothing stores and keep coming with the Target match ups! I personally dislike Walmart - I think it is does more harm than good for our economy but I do appreciate that you try to give us a variety of places that have great deals!

Internet freebies and samples are great!

Thanks for doing all this work, I check out the site almost every day!

i like the coupons matched to the sale, not listed by themselves.

i do like the freebies.

i am not so interested in the forum.

thanks for all you do!

I'd love to have the 3 star deals too, because like in one of the other comments, it may be something that I'm running low on and can no longer wait for a 4-5 star deal. I'd also like to know more about price points to look for to stockpile at. As I'm just getting started at this, most of the match-ups are way cheaper than what I used to pay before couponing but don't know when it is low enough to stockpile. I'm in Idaho, and love the Albertson's match-ups. I also do quite a bit of shopping at Fred Meyer.

I LOVE seeing the daily deals all in one place! I think having the internet coupons linked with the sale would be helpful and it makes more sense to newbies. I am not sure I would use a forum. LOVE the helpful hints and posts for Old Navy! I have to say that I LOVE the simplicity of your blog! Easy to read and not too flashy! I think recipes would be fun. Like when we all are exploding with pilsbury dough maybe we could all share ways to use it up? Just a thought! Anyways, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your site! Thanks for all your hard work!

Hey... Floridian here... would love to see anything PUBLIX, but realize that it is a southern thing. I enjoy your Target postings immensely.

I find your Daily Deals to be unique to your site... keep them up!

I also come to you for all things OLD NAVY as you are on the ball!

Love that I can click in the sidebar to see specific store deals.

Agree that the printable coupons are best presented when linked to a deal rather than randomly listed.

Love your personal sense of humor inserted throughout... :)

Think that your logo is cute as can be.

Oh, and freebies are fun! My little one LOVES to get the mail when the box is full!

Ack! Left a big ol’ comment and it got lost in cyber space! Ugh. Anyway, here is the “Readers Digest version” . I enjoy your blog immensely. I came to it through Krazycouponlady and actually visit here more regularly because I have to muddle through less non-local sales. Your blog loads up quickly. I have visited several of your sponsers (current or previous) and have LOVED their attitudes and have always been treated great by these businesses! The promotions that these businesses added didn’t hurt either. LOL I always tell businesses when I come to them via your blog. You give personal attention to the comments (I know you can’t realisticly do that ALL the time but it is nice that you do it often!) When there is a good deal, you take time to spell it out. Sometimes you have even re-posted the deal to make sure that people are seeing (HEY THIS IS A GOOO D DEAL! ) lol. Typically the couponing blogs are very similar, however one other thing that stand out to me is that you find “unique” deals. Even if it is just a free taco or something, that can really make my day! LOL (can you find more deal s on chocolate btw?) I have a ton of kids, so diaper deals, kids clothing, food, and er…trashy magazines and chocolate are most important to me (oh don’t forget Calgon coupons!) . I really HEART your local entertainment ideas for the weekend!-especially family friendly ones! I think it is really good business that you also promote locally and some of the smaller “mom n’ pops” vs. just chains. Don’t get me wrong-I do the chains too but it just helps our community if we can spend in the area! My only complaint? I missed your blog during Christmas vacation LOL! (not that I didn’t have enough to do or was even CONSIDERING couponing, but it’s a fun read too!)

I love this site, especially when you put the deals together for us, I would be completely lost without them. Please, please please I beg you, put together pet food deals, dog and cat. I sooo appreciate all you do but some great pet food deals would be incredibly appreciated!!!!!

I love your site and visit it daily. uhh hmm sometimes multiple times in a day. Great job on the site.

I live in WA and use Safeway a LOT and would love to see it added as you do such a breat job on Albertsons, my other main store.

Like it when you break down the sales price, coupon to use and final price is...the scenarios are very helpful.

I use you and The krazy coupon lady the most. They are how I heard of your site.

Freebies and samples: Fun to get in the mail for sure but the ones when you end up getting all the junk email or have to do a LOT to get the coupon/sample etc. is nice to no up front as I would rather skip those. I feel mislead on them sometimes. Quick survey is ok it's when you have to do more that it isn't worth it and I wish I didn't go there but I didn't know.
Thank you for your site I love it!

Forums-no
Clothes-no but others like it!
Side bars are ok, don't really give them much attention.

I would like to see 4-5 star deals

I like the Walmart freebes and magazine freebes

I like to see some clothing deals

I usually only print coupons when they correspond to a current deal (or off coupons.com on the last day of the month for something I want)

I dont think I would participate in a forum

I'm happy with the amount of baby deals :)

Thanks for all you do!

Just wanted to drop a line and say hi! My friend told me about your site and have been checking you out ever since. Even though she's base in Atlanta and I'm in Boston, I'm glad that you still post stores that are nationwide like Target and CVS. I do enjoy the free samples. When you post them, I click on them and sign up for it. I enjoy the retail/clothing sales and coupons just to know what sales are going on. I like to see internet printable coupons even when they don't correspond to a current deal since I print them on the spot if I used the product. I'm not sure if I would use a forum since I've never got into that. I don't have any kids so the baby/kid deals aren't prevalent to me but I'm sure for others, it's useful since kids are expensive! In general, thanks so much for doing such a great deal of keeping track of all the deals and sharing it with us! I really appreciate it!

I love seeing a lot of the breakdown you do for sales so I know how much I'll be spending, and if it's a deal that's worth my time or not. Freebies are nice to see, but only if they are really good deals out there. I love all the links to internet printables, and sometimes I do print them on the spot, other times I wait until they correspond to a deal. I probably wouldn't use the forum too much. Overall, it's a great site with awesome information. Keep up the great work!

Freebies- don't do many.
Forum- don't think I'd use.
Sidebar- haven't used it.
Clothing deals- haven't used much.
I like 4-5 star deals.
I like printables w/deals.
I like deal break-down senerios.
I like local stores only..stopped using other deal blogs because of too many other stores that didn't apply to me.

Hope this doesn't sound negative. I just wanted to be brief. Love your site. Thank you for all the time and work you put into it.

Love your blog and have been watching at least twice a day from Denver since August! My favorites: Direct coupon links (hate when I'm sent to the homepage of a coupon site with 12 pages); Like the smooth running commentary - I scroll through till I get to what I've already read; Like the pretty easy to read layout (my eyes strain easily); Love that your stuff is practical and everyday use - I need to buy food and basics, not unneccesary stuff like leg warmers and hair barrets; I looove freebies and samples (especially since my husband was laid off) as they light up my day; My two main stores are Safeway and Target; I ignore the ads and links on the sides but understand why they are there; My two requests are for a coupon co-op or sharing club because many coupons sold on ebay are for packs of 10 or 20 (woulnd't know how to do this practically, but it's a thought); and it would be handy if older posts just popped up rather than opening a new window.
Thank you so much for all you do - I really appreciate it and you have saved me hundreds of dollars. God bless you!
