Weekend Events!

Friday, Dec 11th

Music Theater of Idaho presents "Annie" at The Nampa Civic Center. 7:30 pm. Performance on Saturday as well.

Ballet Idaho presents "The Nutcracker". Dec 11-13. Morrison Center.

Prairie Dog Playhouse. A fun family theater presents "The X-Mas Files". 7:15 pm.

Knock' em Dead Dinner Theater presents "A Season of Hope". 6:30 pm. Skits, readings and holiday songs.

Starlight Mountain Theater presents "White Christmas". 7:30 pm. Performance on Saturday as well.

Boise Little Theater presents "A Christmas Story". 8:00 pm. Performance on Saturday as well.

Best Open Play. Fun and Fit inflatables and Danik Gymnastics. 10-2 pm. At Danik in Meridian and Eagle. Also on Dec 18th and tomorrow 10:30-12:30 in Meridian and 1-4 in Eagle.

Saturday, Dec. 12th

Boise Trolley Holiday Lights Tour. Cole Village Plaza. Tours start at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. nightly through New Year's. (Closed Christmas day).

Festival of Choirs. 6:30. Program begins at 7 pm. Free event with refreshments. Holiday music from local choirs. United Methodist Church. 824 Logan, Caldwell. #459-6279.

Holidays around the world. At the Student Union Bld. in the Jordan Ballroom. BSU Campus. 6-8 pm. Festivities include a visit from Santa, as well as games and entertainment from around the world. There will be performances by the Vietnamese Student Association, the Intertribal Native Council and Danza Azteca Quetzalcoatl. Student groups will sell food and crafts and Sigma Lambda Beta will help children make their own maracas.

I'm Dreaming of a Green Christmas. Foothills Learning Center. 10-2 pm. Create gifts, wrapping and decorations from natural and re-used materials. All ages welcome.

Christmas at the Cathedral. 4:30 pm. Cathedral of the Rockies. Boise’s decades-long tradition, "Christmas at the Cathedral" features children’s choirs, handbell ensembles, pipe organ, a 100-voice mass choir and orchestra.
