OH MY! HOW TERRIFYING!
Out shopping today I was shocked/horrified at the insane prices of Halloween Candy!
So I thought I would open up a post for everyone to share their BRILLIANT money saving ideas for alternative or money saving Trick Or Treat goodies!
Last year we handed out Otter Pops (not frozen of course!) instead of candy. They went over extremely well with our neighborhood kids. Its about as cheap as you can get - we bought a big box of like 300. More than enough.
Another idea was handing out Capri Suns. Grab a bunch of coupons from Ebay to make this as cheap as you can!

I did the diaper deal at Kmart (spend $50/huggies get $12 back) twice and took the $12 I got back and used it towards my halloween candy. I didn't put anything out of pocket (for the candy) but got the diapers I needed at a good price!
Every year I buy a ton of fruit snacks and fruit roll ups (usually get them free) to hand out to trick-or-treaters!

where can you find the big boxes of otter pops? did you have any spills/messes? I love LOVE that idea!
