Hasbro Miracle!

The elusive Playskool Ball Popper and Walk and Ride have been discovered at ShopKo.

As many of you have probably discovered, the great deal on the Playskool toys HERE quickly emptied the shelves of Fred Meyer, Smith's, Target and Walmart. Overwhelmed by the lack of products in the previously noted stores; my dear friend Erica set out to find these myth-like toys and the stellar deal that accompanied them.

She discovered two things. Kmart doesn't price-match, and ShopKo does.

ShopKo will price match only if you have the actual ad. A printed internet version will not be accepted. In addition, ShopKo does not normally accept IP coupons. However, they are making an exception for the Playskool coupons this week.

So take in your Fred Meyer/Smith's ad to your local ShopKo and have them price match and redeem your coupon.

The ShopKo in Nampa has 10 or each left, and the Boise/Milwaukee location had 3-4 of each as well. Feel free to comment where you are finding them or where they are out.

The Fred Meyer runs out this Saturday, so there are only two more days to get this great deal.

gosh I dont know! Did you ask to speak with the manager? That is probably who ok'd the IP. Im out of ideas though...maybe heather over at shopping with cents can help! Its hard to convine people to accept a coupon if they think they arent supposed to, but supposedly this particular coupon got the OK...so I dont know. Ill do more research!

I just called the store, and they will take the coupon or the price match but they are no longer doing both. They said that they cannot accept the coupon because they are already selling the items at a discount with the price match. I explained that they get reimbursed by the manufacturer and that the coupon is essentially cash to them. This is very frustrating as I and my friend were both able to do this last night without incident.

Just got off the phone with Sue from corporate ShopKo customer service. They advertised that they would accept the Playskool coupons, and they price match as a company policy. These are separate promotions and the stores must honor them both. She will be calling the Nampa, Meridian and Boise/Milwaukee store right now and informing their managers that they are to not refuse any of the Playskool IP coupons. I'm really sorry for the hassles some of you may already have had. However, I feel the problem should be remedied. Her number is 1.800.791.7333 and if you have any troubles, please call her and she will fix them for you.

I did this already at the Milwaukee and Eagle/Fairview stores and there was no problem at all. The told me you can actually access and print the Playskool coupons from their website, but i haven't look for them yet myself. Last night Eagle/Fairview had 4-5 of the ride on toys and 10 or so of the ball poppers.

Thank you so much for this info. I was able to get the Ball-Popper today at the Eagle/Fairview Shopko (sounds like they are out already). Great Christmas present for my one yr. old. Thank you!
