Family Dollar - Diapers for $1

You can see my post on getting free Snuggle Softener HERE.Wait and read this before you go though!

If you've been slacking on your coupon clipping and haven't thrown out your paper - don't do it! There is a Family Dollar ad with a $5 off your purchase of $25 or more.

Here is what you should do (I haven't tried it yet so no promises):

Buy:
(6) $3 Snuggle Softeners = $18
(1) Package of Luvs Diapers = $7
Something for $1
(it's the Dollar store - I'm sure there's something you need for a $1!)

Use:
$5/$25 (give this to the cashier 1st)
(6) $3/1 Snuggles
(1) $1/1 Luvs Diaper (PG-9/27) (you can get a $5/1 coupon HERE - but is may take a few weeks)

Final Price = $1 for 6 Snuggles and a Jumbo pack of diapers!!

If you don't have this many Snuggle coupons - substitute for something else in the store that you have a coupon for (toothpaste, cleaner, etc..). If you don't have the Family Dollar store coupon - consider picking up another paper at Walmart - or the Dollar Store (you'll get another Snuggle coupon if you do!) You will more than make up the cost of the paper.

unfortunately this won't exactly work. the total has to be $25 after coupons. still a good deal

Yeah, I'm not sure it will work. Worth a try though. I used my $5 off $25 last week with a bunch of other coupons...the cashier put the $5 one to the side, rang through all the other coupons, and THEN did the $5 off (I assume after she made sure it was still $25 total.)...Just a note though, Family Dollar does have Charmin Basic 12 double roll packs for $5.50 (use $1 off Charmin to make it $4.50) and Bounty Basic 8 pack for $5.50 (use $1 off Bounty to make $4.50)! We can all use t.p. and paper towels!

Where did you find your $1 coupons for Bounty paper towels and toilet paper?

I cant find the $5/$25 coupon you spoke about. I looked in the Statesman and the Times. I also went on Family Dollar website and didnt see it in the ad there. Where exactly can I find it??

Thanks for the comments girls! The coupon didn't say before coupons and since the coupons are as good as cash to Dollar Store I assumed it would work. If any one does get this to work before I head down there let me know!!

Michelle - did they take the $5 off first for you?

It was a glossy pull-out ad found in Sundays paper. It may have been tucked in one of the inserts now that I think about it. I'm not exactly sure - it should be in the paper though.

Yes, in Kuna they told me that it was $25 before coupons. This is the second time I have done it and was that way last time too.

Thanks Michelle for clarifying that for all of us!!!

If you are able to use this still today...they have retailer coupons under the Huggies for $1 off and also on Tide laundry detergent (wich is on sale for $10) If you buy one bottle Tide, and two packages of Luvs and put in another $1 item (I bought some cute hair clippes for my girls) and then use the $1 off Tide manufac. coupon, along with the retailers coupon, as well as two retail coupons for the Luvs and one manufacturers coupon....you get $19 and then take off the $5 coupon...tada-$14 for two pkgs. Luvs and one bottle Tide Laundry soap. btw, I was also able to do more than one transaction. They took the $5 off after coupons!

(just a side note-debit, cash and check work there but they don't do credit--for those of you visiting for the first time)

That is one thing they didn't let me do in Kuna is use the two coupons together. (retail and manufacture) : (
