I posted a while ago about how to get the Glade scented Candle tins for $.16:
They were marked $1.66 and inside each tin there was a $1.50/1 coupon.
Well, I guess Target doesn't like it when us "couponers" to get a good deal so they marked up the tine to $2.99!
I was curious about this and had read that other Targets were still priced at $1.66 so I price scanned the $.2.99 tins at the Nampa Target and guess what? STILL $1.66! Tricky.
So if you want some more of these - price scan the tins - I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised like I was! For an even better deal, use Buy One Get a free Refill from SS 8/23 and get both of these items for $.16. What a great gift!

thank you for this! I went to my local target and got 12 candles, had to double check and make sure the tins I bought had the coupon in them, there were a few without coupons. Sticky fingers i guess.
I did this the other night at the eagle/mcmillan store. I got 9 candles and refills for .16. However, the cashier said that I could only use 5 coupons per transaction. So I had him refund 4 of them and do another transaction. He then said that "technically" he should make me go out of the store and come back 2 hours later because that was the definition of a "transaction." He "let it go", but seemed bothered. I thanked him for the infor and for letting it slide. I have never heard this "policy" is it new?
The Eagle and Boise store have made up their own policy. It's kind of funny actually :).
There is no such policy and if you ever encounter this issue, just print the corporate policy at http://www.target.com/b/ref=br_bx_4/192-9168409-2594745?ie=UTF8&node=2223357011.
Or have them call corporate for you to "verify" :).
They have tons of these at the St. George, UT Target!! I have got lots & lots of them... felt kinda guilty the first time but they didn't say a word! I even used coupons for free refills for them if you purchase one & really scored!
