Albertson's Double Promo

All of this is getting a bit confusing! So many sales, so many catalinas, so many products! I wanted to share what I have learned. PLEASE help us out and let us know what you have learned as well!

The General Mills Promo:
Spend $30 Get $15 OYNSO,
- expires 8/11 with a change of a few products on 8/9

The Unilever Promo:
Spend $30 Get 12,
Spend $20 Get $7,
Spend $10 Get $3
- expires 8/13 according to the ad but I've heard 8/8??

Products included in BOTH:
Vaseline Lotions - 2/$5 AND $5
(all varieties have worked for me at different stores)
Q-tips - 300-500ct
Dove Shampoo/Conditioners - $4.99

If you happen to have a lot of coupons (or ordered some on e-Bay) these scenarios might work for you:

Scenario 1:

buy (12) Vaseline lotions = $30
use (12) $1.25/1 = -$15
Spend $15 total Get $27 OYNSO
Make $12!!!
Scenario 2:
buy (5) Vasoline lotions = $12.50

buy (5) ALL detergents = $17.50

use (5) All $1/1 = -$5
use (5) Vaseline $1.25/1 = -$6.25
use (2) doublers = -$2
Spend $16.75 Get $18 OYNSO
Make $1.25!!!

I did scenario #1 and only got $15 & $3. Still a good deal but not the $27 I was hoping for. Just FYI. This was at McMillan

Hmmm, I wonder why. I actually did this transaction at McMillan as well. You bought $30 worth iin Unilever so you should have gotten the additional $9 (the cat that printed has a list of participating items).Maybe customer service could print it for you?

Thanks for the heads up!

I had a problem for the first time last night after a couple months of couponing where they wouldn't double the Internet Printables!! The cashier said that they can't double the ones that say NO DOUBLING...but what I had been told previously is that it isn't the manufacturor actually doubling, it is Albertsons, so it was okay....any ACTUAL facts you can enlighten me with on the topic??!!

This is a frustrating topic, I know. In my experience, it completely depends on your store.
Because Albertsons is actually paying the doubling costs and they are doing it in the form of an actual double coupon - the fine print on the Do Not Double's get a little tricky.

Apparently, they risk the manufacturer pulling their product from their store if the double their DND (I have no idea why they would do this). Some stores are willing to risk it, some are not. I heard a rumor that corporate is laying down the law and not allowing this, but who knows. I always ask first.

Just to let you know the Albertson's on Greenhurst and 12th Ave in Nampa has about 50 cases of Q-tips. They were also giving out coupons! So go get your
Q-tips!

I was over at the Nampa Greenhurst Albertsons tonight (Fri) and they still had a whole pallet of Q-tips!
