Weekend fun and 4th of July activities!

Fri, July 3rd:


Movie Night at Settlers park.-Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Movie starts at dusk.


Idaho Ice World:
9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Fridays, through Aug. 28, at Idaho IceWorld, Bring a canned food item for The Idaho Foodbank and save $3 on skate rentals.


Nampa Public Library: Preschool story time. 10:15 am

Middleton Firefighters 4th of July Breakfast: 6:30-11:30 a.m.

Middleton Parade 12:00 p.m

Fireworks:dusk


Gem State Kiwanis 4th of July Pancake breakfast. 7-11 a.m. The breakfast is located adjacent to the Band Shell at Julia Davis Park. The cost is $5.00 for adults and $4.00 for children.


“We the People” Liberty Day Parade.
11 am, Downtown Boise.


United We Stand parade 10 am. Caldwell memorial park. Activities, music, games, food vendors all day. End the day with a fire works show from Simplot Stadium.


City of Meridian 4th of July celebration. Storey park. 7 pm-dusk. Activities, music and fireworks!


Tea Party Celebration BBQ. 5-9 p.m. Julia Davis Park by the band shell.


Food: Hamburgers, hotdogs, beverages
Special Event: Tribute to the Troops!

There will be a donation box to help pay for dinner and postage to send care packages to the troops. Bring your American flag and dress in red, white, and blue! If you want to contribute a care package for the troops, contact Tara Lehman, 208-870-4358, e-mail: atarweber@hotmail.com, or bring items to the BBQ. The USO recommends snacks, instant soup, hot chocolate, powdered drink mixes, magazines, CDs, board games, unscented lotion, sun screen, lip balm, wet wipes, and socks.

Old Fashion 4h of July family fun day: Idaho City. Parade at noon. Activities, games, food. 12-4 p.m.


Emmett 100 year anniversary. Island Sports Complex. 5-11 p.m. Live music, food, fireworks and fun!


Boise Hawks Baseball. Hawks stadium. 7:35 p.m. Fireworks following.


Ann Morrison Park celebrates 50th year. Free daytime events in the park at the east end of the fountain.

3:00-5:30 p.m. - relay races, capture the flag, soccer and crafts
5:30-6:30 p.m. - Boise Municipal Band
6:30-7:00 p.m. - Official ceremony

10:15 p.m.-Fireworks presented by Today's Channel 6, 107.1 K-Hits, Idaho Statesman and the City of Boise.
