We've had a couple of great emails in the Discount Queens inbox lately. Here's what our couponing friends had to say:
"Tonight I found FM coupons for 1.00 off spray 'n wash, which FM had on sale for 1.99. Stack that with the .50/1 coupons out there ( don't remember date published, but they're good till 6/14. Makes Spray'n Wash 49 cents. Not bad! Also, they had some great tear off coupons in the gardening section for pest control for up to 6 bucks off on Garden Safe and Bayer Advanced products. Who knew Bayer made pest control stuff?!I have had good luck with Albertson, FM and Walgreens accepting 2 MC on B1G1 deals. Also, one of the checkers told me to use the customer order forms to order items by the case that you want to buy there on sale. Such as if you know you want a case of mac and cheese cups that they are running on sale . This would be another way to use up coupons before they go out of date, but do it at the beginning of the week, so that they can get it in before the coupons expire.Recently I have had good luck with manufacturers that don't usually give coupons mailing me some at my request. Bush's baked beans and Tillamook cheese, being the latest two. i just email and rave about their product and ask if they ever give coupons, and voila!.....coupons arrive in the mail. I always email a polite "thank you" so that they'll keep doing it for others."--Shelley G
