So do you want the good news or the bad news first?
I was at Rite Aid last night doing my "big" transaction. I spent some time trying to figure out the best deals with my $5/$25, coupons and SCRs. I had finally figured it out, went to check out and they proceed to tell me that their policies have changed.
1~ You can only use $5 worth of PRINTED coupons in one transaction. This means that if you are using the $5/$25, you can't use anymore IP's in that transaction. You can use MQ's but no IP's. That ruined my first transaction...and my 2nd. (That's the BAD news)
2~Some GOOD news is that now you can use 2 coupons on B1G1. They used to limit you to only 1 MQ on the product you were buying, not the one you were getting free. Now you can use 2 on the one you are buying. That's a sweet deal...
3~Some more good news. I didn't know this until last night, unfortunately it didn't help me because everything I was buying was on sale/clearance. The 1st Tuesday of EVERY month, you get 20% off ALL items in the store. (limited to things NOT on sale or on clearance. Example, if you want to buy a bamboo umbrella and it's too expensive and not on sale, go on the 1st Tuesday of the month and you get an automatic 20% off.) Every OTHER Tuesday of the month, you get 10% off everything in the store NOT on sale or clearance. That's kinda cool.
Anyhow, I was a little bugged by the IP couponing policy, but in the end, I just didn't buy the sunscreen for either transaction, spent less and received more back in rebates. So I guess I win and didn't spend as much money as they wanted me too! :-)

Great information, thanks!
The discount on Tuesdays is kind of cool. I am assuming you could use it on milk and things like that as well. That little discount can go a long way in dropping the price of a gallon of milk there if this applies.
I have been told at my local RIte Aid that the Tuesday discounts were only on Rite Aid store brands when you use your Rite Aid loyalty card. I wonder if the Tuesday deals you heard about are separate from the deal they told me about, or perhaps they have changed it?
Interesting!
wow, thanks for the updates! I dont shop rite aid enough - it sounds like they do have some sweet deals to take advantage of. That 2 coupons for the b1g1 sounds too good to pass up!
The Frugal Muse- I did ask about whether or not it was EVERYTHING in the store or just Rite Aid brands, and from what I understood, it was EVERYTHING. I should double check just to make sure, but that's what he said. You do have to have a loyalty card, whatever that is...
