A very sweet young friend of mine is currently preparing to leave on a trip to Africa with the organization Mothers Without Borders, and she could use your help! They are in need of some specific donated items, and since many of the items are things I often have stockpiled from all my couponing, I thought I'd pass along the list in case you're in a position to help out too. All donations need to be dropped off with Aubrey by July 16, 2009. You can contact her to make arrangements at 371-8822.
Aubrey is also putting together some summer day camps for kids to help her raise the funds needed to make the trip to Africa. My kids are signed up for this Thursday's carnival, with bounce houses, cotton-candy, and carnival games! The day camps take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-12pm and cost $15 for one child, and $5 for every child after that. If you are interested, give her a call at the above number and she can email you her flyer and calendar.
