DON'T TOSS THEM!!!!
I saw this on a blog one day and can't remember where it was, so I googled it. Sure enough, we can send our expired coupons to military bases and they can use them for up to 6 months past their expiration date.
Lots of my coupons expired on 3/31/09, so now I have a huge pile of them hanging out on my counter. If anyone is interested in doing this, I would be happy to compile a package and get them sent off. We just have to find a place to meet up so I can get your coupons...OR...you can go here and choose which base you want to send them to.

what a great idea! i always feel like i've wasted so much time when i don't get to use my clipped and sorted coupons.

Monica, that is possible. I just thought it was a great idea and didn't want to steal it from someone else. :-)
Jilene- It is pretty cool. I am glad you are gathering some up. I am glad you were able to find it again in the google search. There are so many good posts out there it is hard to keep track of where you find great ideas.
