I just got off the phone with one of our local Albertson's store managers. I was a bit confused about the Kraft/Unilever Promo that starts tomorrow and wanted some clarification before making my "plan of attack". Here's what I now know....
PYP informed us:
**Kraft/Unilever promo: Spend $25 on participating products, and get FREE meat or seafood instantly, up to $10.** (go HERE for complete details)
If history repeats itself, then no meat purchase is required. The $10 comes off your purchase automatically even if meat is not included in your transaction. The manager could not confirm this 100% but with past sales of this kind, the $10 will come off, meat purchase or no meat purchase. If you choose to purchase meat, however, meat is meat and get whatever you want! Any questions? Happy Shopping.

I can't get it. If I not going to buy meat, they'll charge me $15? Help me here, please.
Yes, they will take 10 off 25 so you will be charged $15 instead of $25. Remember that you only have to reach $25 before coupons. So in reality your final out-of pocket could be much less than $15. Just think of it like a %40 discount on all prices of participating product. This is only IF it works like it has in the past - where you actually don't have to buy meat and still get $10 off. Hope that helped!
This is great information. I still will be doing (1) $50 transaction and using the $20 in free meat towards a ham, because then I get a free ham (Albies promo) and get the $20 back (ham rebate) making my OOP $30, plus a free ham. If I did a $50 transaction and chose not to get the ham /turkey, my OOP would go down to $30, but no free ham.
Then, if I do any more transactions, I will probably skip the meat and take the instant discount as Katie outlined.
Thanks,Tamra. Now I get it:)
