If you're thinking of making strawberry freezer jam or just love strawberries, I heard that Winco has 2 pound containers for $1.98. This is a great price!
Christy...it's so easy. Get a box of pectin at the store (ask someone and they'll show you where it is) and follow the directions in the box. You will be surprised at how easy it is! All it takes is smashing your berries, adding sugar, and boiling your pectin and water, mix it up, and there you go! (of course there are specifics to it all but that's the general idea)
Yes!! I do the same recipe and it is sooo easy and YUMMY! We've even done the lower sugar ones (pink boxes I think), and they taste great! Costco has their Strawberries for $.1.65/lb right now! Cute blog!

actually, you can do the "no cook" recipe and don't even have to boil it down. just crush, add sugar and pectin and put in the jars. we love it!
I was just at the Meridian Winco and the strawberries were 1.98 for 16 oz...isn't that just 1 pound? Correct me if I'm not thinking right!
