My mother-in-law just called to let me know about a great Chex sale they are having at Winco (she was in Eagle). Rice Chex, Corn Chex, Wheat Chex, and Chocolate Chex are on sale for $1.77, on each box you'll find a peelie for $3/3, making the final price for these $.77. This is definitely a stock-up price.
Update: I took some info off of here so in case you read this post earlier, things will look a little different. I'm sick today and shouldn't be posting when I'm not all with it! The $.75/1 manufacturer coupon I had mentioned cannot be combined with the $3/3 coupon, they are both manufacturer coupons, duh! Still a great deal though.

Ok-wait. . .1.77 ea, but the coupon is $1/3? So buy 3 @ 1.77 ea. = 5.31, minus (1) $1/3 coupon = 4.31 divided by three boxes = 1.44 ea. Right? or did I miss something? And if you used the .75/1 coupon, it would be 1.77 - .75 = 1.02 per box. Tell me what I'm doing wrong, pal!

Alrighty then--$3/3, that's more like it! We might as well buy our own cow with all the milk we will need to wash down this cereal! And I might have to pitch a tent in the back yard to store it in (the cereal, not the cow!). . .

Ok, just back from my trip out to the Eagle Winco, and it was even better than expected (by the way, I hear that ONLY the Eagle Winco has this sale on cereal, and is the ONLY one with peelies on the boxes)! I got 24 boxes of Chex, 1.78 x 24 = 42.72. Each box had it's own peelie for $3/3, so I used 8 of those no problem, saving $24. Then, my checker told me to hand her some more coupons, and she would just scan them until the register wouldn't take them anymore--it took 2 more $3/3, making my total savings in coupons $30. $42.72 + 2.56(tax) - $30 = 15.28, divided by 24 boxes = .64 per box (if they had only let me use the first 8 coupons it would have been .77 per box, plus tax, so .89 per box). Plus I have 14 more of the $3/3 coupons from the rest of my boxes to use for future sales on Chex! Maybe Albertson's will do a General Mills promo next?
